Manila Pilgrimage

SSPX Manila would like to invite everyone to join its annual Manila Pilgrimage in honor of Our Lady of Guadalupe on December 9, 2017. It will start with a Solemn High Mass with the District Superior of Asia, Fr. Karl Stehlin, as the celebrant at Luneta around 5:00 AM. This year the pilgrims will be visiting 10 churches around Metro Manila until they reach Our Lady of Victories Church at Quezon City.

MMT Phase VI — Luzon

On 28 October 2016, in Marbel in South Cotobato, on the Island of Mindanao, Philippines, Mary’s Mission Tour began. It is a 2100 km Pilgrimage scheduled to conclude in Baguio Luzon on 15 August 2017.

This Pilgrimage has been conceived as the SSPX District of Asia’s offering to Mary for the Centenary of Fatima. While the Pilgrimage has not yet concluded, it has reaped many initial fruits for Our Lady 14,600 new Knights were enrolled in 3 months on the Island of Mindanao alone.

Pilgrims were walking also through the smaller islands of Leyte, Bohol and Iloilo. And as Mary’s Mission Pilgrimage winds its way through the Philippine isles, more Knights are added to Mary’s Army.

"Messages coming from men are accepted, but they obstinately reject those coming from God, without even trying to do something to determine their authenticity. But this is ancient history; it is as old as is the world..." Father Ottavio Michelini

'The Poem of the Man-God' (The Gospel as Revealed to Me by Maria Valtorta)

Jesus says: "Behold, infinite Charity, which is My attribute, has drawn from this most Merciful Heart a new gift of infinite Mercy, of divine Mercy for men: the Work ('The Poem of the Man-God'). It was to serve to fortify the three Theological Virtues in their spirits, and the four Cardinal Virtues, and to give My Love, the exact measure of Its dimension to those who are about to be overwhelmed by the hatred of Satan, of the Antichrist and of his servants..."

"My Divine Mercy has given the 'Work' out of mercy for infinite souls, lost or on the way to being lost—both lay and even consecrated souls—so that they would again have eternal Salvation.

The Work was the practical application of the spiritual works of mercy which I have taught: "Instruct the ignorant, convert sinners...".

Those who have blocked it for years, unjustly and without a true reason—rather only for a blameworthy reason—have not understood its end, its aim, or the power of My Gift, and have profoundly wounded My Heart and made themselves responsible for the spiritual death of so many souls, and for a great lack of charity and justice toward you, Maria..." "The most profound reason for the gift of this work is that in the present time, when modernism, (the denial of the supernatural) condemned by My holy Vicar (Saint Pope) Pius X, becomes corrupted in more and more harmful doctrines, the Church, represented by My Vicar, may have further material to fight against those who deny:

  • the supernaturalness of dogmas;
  • the divinity of the Christ; the truth of the Christ God and Man, real and perfect both in the faith and in the history that has been handed down on Him (Gospel, Acts of the Apostles, Apostolic Letters, tradition);
  • the doctrine of Paul and John and of the councils of Nicea, Ephesus and Chalcedon, as My true doctrine verbally taught by Me;
  • My unlimited science, as it is divine and perfect;
  • the divine origin of the dogmas of the Sacraments of the Church One, Holy, Catholic, Apostolic;
  • the universality and continuity, until the end of time, of the Gospel given by Me for all men;
  • the perfect nature, from the beginning, of My doctrine that has not been formed, the Reasons for the Work."
First of all, renewed love for My Mother, in Whose prayers lies the secret of the salvation of the world. She, My Mother, is the Conqueress of the cursed Dragon. Assist her power by means of your renewed love for Her and of your renewed faith and knowledge of what pertains to Her. Mary has given the Savior to the world. The world will receive salvation again from Her.

Words every Catholic should seriously reflect upon - these ancient arrows of the enemy of man, from the time of Noah, the pharisees in the time of our Lord Jesus, the apparitions of the Blessed Virgin Mary until the end of the age:

INCREDULITY; the state of being unwilling or unable to believe something.

RATIONALISM; a belief or theory that opinions and actions should be based on reason and knowledge rather than on religious belief or emotional response.

EGOISM; an ethical theory that treats self-interest as the foundation of morality.

And the worst of all ...

PRIDE; "anti-God" state, the position in which the ego and the self are directly opposed to God: immorality, anger, greed, drunkenness, and all that, are mere fleabites in comparison: it was through Pride that the devil became the devil: Pride leads to every other vice: it is the complete anti-God state of mind.

Instead, let every Catholic and non-Catholics praise the Most High for these priceless 'Gifts' and be not like 'doubting Thomases'; "But when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will teach you all truth. For he shall not speak of himself; but what things soever he shall hear, he shall speak; and the things that are to come, he shall shew you." John 16:13

"Do not grieve the Holy Spirit, whose friendship you need so much, by denying His action - every revelation and inspired work has the Paraclete as its Author - and by waging war on and opposing one of His tabernacles... To contest His words or fail to appreciate them is to commit an offense against Love. To persecute one of His instruments is to offend Love, Who wisely knows why He has chosen that instrument."
"I could do everything - even destroy the 'Work' and dictate it again afterwards. It would be an exact repetition (in the points dictated by supernatural voices) of the destroyed work. The differences would be observed only in the words used by the spokesman to describe places and episodes. It would be an exact repetition of the destroyed work, just as occurred with the prophecies of Jeremiah, burned by Jehoiakim, king of Judah." (Notebooks 1945-50, pp. 449-50)

"...if you object that Revelation was closed with the last Apostle (John), and there was nothing further to add, because the same Apostle says in Revelation: "If anyone adds anything to them, God will add to him every plague mentioned in the book" (22:18) and that can be understood for all the Revelation, the last completion of which is the Revelation by John, I reply to you that with this work no addition was made to Revelation, but only the gaps, brought about by natural causes and by supernatural will, were filled in. "Why do you all want to deny, why do you want to say to God: 'You are not allowed to do that'? The apostolicity of the Church did not end with the Apostles. It continues with the lesser apostles. Every saint is one of them, every 'voice' is one of them. And I, Head of the apostolic Church, can choose and spread everywhere these My little apostles for your good.

They are humble, compared to you scholars? And what were the first twelve? Fishermen, illiterate, ignorant. But it was them that I took, and not the scholarly rabbis, because since they [the twelve] were conscious of being nothing, they were capable of accepting the Word; while the rabbis saturated with pride, had no capacity to accept It. Humility is what I seek, and if these [little apostles], even while remaining loving, pure and generous, should become proud, I would abandon them without fail." Read More

"Why not force with an act of power, Lord, those who for years oppose the publication of the Work?" His answer—

"I do not violate the free will which I have given to man. I limit Myself to pointing out with clear words and spiritual advice, what it is good to do in order to merit My blessing on Earth, and eternal glory in Heaven; or else My chastisement both here and [in the] Beyond. So did My Father do with the angels and with Adam and Eve, because thus it had to be done to confirm them or not in grace. And thus do I do with all men of every class and social condition: from kings to the poor, from Priests to the laity, from scholars to the ignorant." Read More

"Say, Maria, to your [spiritual] father, who asks for a sign to persuade his confreres of certain truths which cannot be denied, that I give them the same answer given to the Feasting Rich Man: 'If they do not listen to Moses and to the Prophets, they will not listen even to One risen from the dead.'

If they do not listen to the voice of their conscience, inspired by Me, which shouts its indisputable and truthful warnings, if they suffocate under their incredulity that remnant of sensitivity which lingers in them, how do you want them to hear other things? If they do not bow their foreheads before the reality that strikes them, and neither remember nor understand nor admit anything, how do you want them to believe in a sign?" Read More

I say to Jesus: "I offer You also my life, and I renounce seeing the Work (''The Poem of the Man-God') published—provided they, the Communists, do not triumph." Jesus responds to me:—

"I have always accepted every offering of yours and every sacrifice of yours. But this one, no. My Will is otherwise. These desires of yours go against My Will, and I cannot accept them. My Will is that the Work be published. Because, if it is true that the holocaust of one creature can do so much to keep the Antichrist from triumphing, My Word can do much more when spread among the crowds." Read More

TESTIMONIES and FEEDBACK

sources : bardstown.com; valtorta.org.au; valtorta.org

“If you wish to know and love the Sacred Heart of Jesus, read Valtorta!” Fr. Ludovic-Marie Barrielle, FSSPX

First spiritual director of the SSPX Econe seminary who had 40 years experience giving Ignatian retreats and who wrote the book entitled 'Rules for the Discernment of Spirits in the Spiritual Exercises of St. Ignatius of Loyola' used extensively in all SSPX Ignatian retreats.

“Father Barrielle was very much in favor of this book of Maria Valtorta. He was convinced that it was absolutely true, that it could not be not true.” Archbishop Marcel Lefebvre talked about the then spiritual director of Econe in one of his sermons.

Hence, the leading bishop and champion of traditional Catholics (Archbishop Lefebvre) called one of the highest and most revered clerics in traditional Catholic circles (Fr. Barrielle) “our model spiritual guide”, the latter of whom was an avid promoter of Valtorta's work and believed in its authenticity.

Pope Pius XII commended her writings after reading and perusing the notes for 11 months: "Publish them as they are, taking nothing away, nor adding to them. Who will understand, will understand."

The Osservatore Romano was made aware of the falsity of the innuendos of writers maligning Maria Valtorta in their articles, published in the Osservatore in 1961. The Osservatore stopped printing negative comments afterwards.

St. Padre Pio: “I do not advise you to, I order you to!” [“Non te lo consiglio, ma te lo ordino!”]. This was his reply to a spiritual daughter, Elisa Lucchi, when she asked him in 1967: “Father, I have heard talk about the books of Maria Valtorta. Do you advise me to read them?”

St. Padre Pio and Maria Valtorta Read More

Reportedly, Saint Padre Pio prophesied that one day Maria Valtorta’s writings would be propagated throughout the world.

According to a report by Fr. Leo Maasburg, national leader of the missions in Vienna, Austria and an occasional confessor of Saint Mother Teresa for 4 years, she always traveled with three books: The Bible, her Breviary, and a third book.

When Fr. Leo asked her about the third work, she said to him that it was a book by Maria Valtorta. Upon his [multiple] inquiries about the content of it, she told him, "read it" and simply repeated that.

Maria Valtorta's work is also mentioned in the writings of Monsignor Ottavio Michelini, a priest of the Diocese of Carpi, who reported a series of Dictations and Visions given to him by Jesus Christ and the Virgin Mary from 1975 to 1979. He reported these words dictated to him by Christ:

"I have dictated to Maria Valtorta, a victim soul, a marvelous work ('The Poem of the Man-God'). Of this work I am the Author. You yourself, Son, have taken account of the raging reactions of Satan.... You have verified the resistance that many priests oppose to this work. This also proves, Son, that he who has not sensed in the Poem the savor of the Divine, the perfume of the Supernatural, has a soul encumbered and darkened. If it were – I do not say "read" --but studied and meditated, it would bring an immense good to souls. This work is a well-spring of serious and solid culture.... This is a work willed by Wisdom and Divine Providence for the new times. It is a spring of living and pure water. It is I, the Word living and eternal, Who have given Myself anew as nourishment to the souls that I love. I, Myself, am the Light, and the Light cannot be confused with, and still less blend Itself with, the darkness. Where I am found, the darkness is dissolved to make room for the Light."

The particular Michelini book from which this quotation was taken is called La medida está colmada in its Spanish version and remains in the library of The Archidiocesan Minor Seminary of Monterrey in the city of San Pedro Garza García. It is worth noting that the first page of the book has a seal that reads "Biblioteca Seminario Menor de Monterrey Donativo del Sr. Emmo. Adolfo Antonio Cardenal Suárez Rivera", ("Library of the Minor Seminary of Monterrey Donated by Sr. Eminentísimo Adolfo Cardinal Suárez Rivera"). He was for many years Cardinal Archbishop of the Diocese of Monterrey. This Spanish edition of Michelini's writings where supposedly Christ himself defends Valtorta's Work, comes with a copy of two letters between Bishops (within the first pages). The first letter is from the Bishop of León, México Anselmo Zarza Bernal and is addressed to Bishop Miguel García Franco at the time Bishop of Mazatlán.

"They cannot accept the fact of my speaking to whomever I want, without their permission!

Some of them have not even deigned to pay the least attention to my messages, because in their presumptuous incredulity, they cannot accept the fact that I, true God and true man, who am in my Church, can direct Myself and speak to whomever I want, where I want, how I want, and when I want. According to their presumptuous way of thinking, I should ask their permission, to speak to the souls who are dear to Me!

By causing you suffering, they confirm the truth of what I have manifested to you...

Son, I previously advised you that you would be considered crazy, like one demented; and my prediction could not be wrong, but what is it that is preventing them from verifying this sad reality in my Church? It is pride!

My son, I did not promise you any other thing upon earth except suffering, and they do not know that, by causing you suffering, they are the evident confirmation of the truths that I have manifested to you. But do not allow yourselves to be impressed. Being united to Me, you should be afraid of nothing." Jesus to Fr. Ottavio

Blessed be the 'most sacred passion, death, resurrection and ascension' of our Lord Jesus Christ and the 'assumption' of the Blessed Virgin Mary!

Feast of the Immaculate Conception

The feast chosen for the public adherence to the SSPX's Statutes is that of the Immaculate Conception. We know that the particular privileges of the Blessed Virgin flow from the fact that she was chosen to be the Mother of God. Her feast on December 8th is of particular significance for the members of the Society. On this glorious feast we sing the praises of her sinless nature as she was preserved from Original Sin by virtue of the merits of her Divine Son applied to her in advance at her conception, in view of her special prerogative as the Mother of Christ.
